This book is "a decade long property rights litigation chronicle involving an old Vermont country road."
Author Kate Chatot fought a confusing and sometimes heated dispute over property lines and rights.
She documented the difficult and frustrating steps she and her husband had to take, the many litigations, and literal road blocks they overcame to protect their land rights. Chatot wrote, "The wheels of justice grind slowly; however, they do grind."
She hopes it will be a tool for landowners and their legal representatives who deal with property rights, particularly in light of Vermont's Ancient Road Bill.
