The second volume of the Society's portrait album continues the collection of donated photographs: families and neighbors, school groups and ball teams, the town band, Society meetings and festivals, and the homes, farms and mills of the town.
The table of contents is arranged alphabetically, with the album page on which each photograph appears. Some captions end with a cemetery code, such as V-1-01, giving the cemetery, section and row where a gravesite may be found.
Cemetery Codes
- C — Center of Town
- D — Durant, Lower Cabot
- E — East Cabot
- P — Plains Cemetery
- S — South Cabot
- V — Village, or Elm Street
- W — West Hill
The smaller cemeteries have only rows numbered; both the Village and Durant cemeteries have the section and then the row numbered. Maps of the cemeteries are also available at the Town Offices and at the Cabot Historical Society.
